Listening was like being on the phone with you. I love that other people get to have access to you and the faith you walk in. Without faith it’s impossible to please God. This podcast is sooo pleasing to Him. And for what it’s worth . . . me too!
I love the step of willingness you have taken to start this podcast! God has given you the gift of communication and what you are willing to share has value indeed. The words you share can be exactly what someone else needs to hear. I love the phrases you used, “The recipe is found in Scripture” and “the space of total willingness”.
My daughter, Cristina, for years had a little plaque in her room with the words, “God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called!” In a way, I see that “The space of total willingness…” and the action of “taking the step of willingness…”, as you so good expressed, is often, in my opinion, hindered by our view of self in regards to the questions that often may flood our minds, such as, “Am I qualified to do that job? Am I well trained and equipped?” Can others learn from me? Do I have something to offer? Yet, often throughout all of Scripture, we see that God calls the least likely to be qualified or able to do the job. The less qualified or able we are, in the eyes of man and in our own eyes and understanding, the more tangible the Power of God is to others and to ourselves. Paul stated it perfectly in
2 Corinthians 12:9
“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
I used to be very insecure with my abilities especially in public speaking and sharing with others. As I stepped into being “willing”, which started in small ways, God stepped into it with me to give me exactly what I needed to do it.
I’m so glad He knows what He is doing! I just need to fully TRUST Him and “take the step of willingness”. I have learned that to be used by God, to be intentional and be willing to take action is my part. The Holy Spirit does the work and all the heavy lifting! Praise God!
And to have a community of believers, The Church, to encourage one another, to challenge each other and to grow to be more like Jesus Christ is SO important in the journey of being a disciple of Christ! Thank you brother Daniel for taking this step of willingness and starting this podcast! ❤️
I don't really think you can, I think it means letting go. But... like risk revealing faith I think willingness is revealed when we engage in things where we naturally 'prefer against.'
Jesus says, (paraphrase!) 'your love is revealed as you love your enemies... because after all, everyone is nice to the people they like'
(that was a LOT of paraphrase)
So to, I think, this. Your willingness is revealed when you face things you maybe don't want to do. It doesnt mean its not there the rest of the time... but it can - I think - be easy to fool the self.
And to the flip side, can total willingness become a an ego driven nightmare? Sure.
Of course.
But... I think thats a space we need to have willingness to.
Jokes on you - I already don’t care about my ROI! Love you. love this. And I really hope you keep em coming. Just like this. Sincere, succinct, faithful and friendly.

Thanks Natalia!
"We're not gonna care about RIO" AMEN. AMEN. AMEN.
"The recipe is found in the scripture..." you have an amazing take on scripture and being able to challenge the ways in which we think.
"total willingness"- this is a dangerous little quote. Please unpack it scripturally. How do you check that willingness? Is it ego or spirit?
That's a great question.

Not willingness to 'do.'
Willingness to 'do' or 'not do' as indicated.
Essentially, obedience.
Thanks( not sure what fits here) for stepping out. I am behind you, praying and eagerly awaiting what God has in store
Daniel.
:)
Appreciate it!
